What's Holding You Back Isn't Fate—It's Your State

What's Holding You Back Isn't Fate—It's Your State

A few days ago, I listened to an interview.

The whole episode was actually quite long, but I only remember one line:

Change doesn't come from knowledge—it comes from state.

At that moment, I felt like I'd been awakened.

Over the past few years, whether building GoodByBy, studying spirituality, or learning healing modalities, I've become increasingly convinced of one thing—what truly makes the difference is never the method. It's where your energy is right now.

Change Isn't a Miracle—It's a Shift in State

The interviewee didn't suddenly receive some magical answer at his lowest point in life. He simply started doing two small things: a cold shower every day, and breathing exercises with meditation every day.

The environment didn't change right away, but his state did. And once his state changed, his actions started to change too. This resonated deeply with me.

I've Learned So Much—Why Am I Still Uncertain About Where I Am?

The reason I built a fortune-slip website is because I've been deeply researching spirituality for a long time. I've studied Theta Healing, astrology, and analyzed birth charts, and I've deconstructed many frameworks around beliefs and energy.

But for a period of time, I was genuinely lost. I'd learned so much—why was I still uncertain about where I stood? About what I was supposed to be doing?

I knew a lot of theories, yet I was still anxious. Gradually, I came to understand: it wasn't that I didn't know enough. It was that I was desperately trying to use "knowing" to find certainty in life.

Fate isn't driven by understanding. It's driven by state.

When you're in a state of inner scarcity, you'll choose safety. When you're in a state of inner stability, you'll dare to create.

This interview reminded me that transformation may not be some huge turning point—it might just be taking responsibility for your own state every single day.

I've placed the video below. If you've been feeling stuck lately, maybe take a look.

Maybe you don't need more answers. What you need might simply be to return to your own energy.

A Small Practice Checklist

  • Cold finish for 3 minutes: Let your body wake up first, and your emotions will follow.
  • 30 deep breaths: Focus on inhaling and exhaling—not to solve problems, just to reset your state.
  • Rewrite your definition of success: Moving 1% forward today also counts as success.
  • Ask yourself one question: Is my current choice coming from scarcity or from stability?

None of these cost money, but they require you to take responsibility for your own state every day.
